Local public transport

Most of our venues in Graz are very central and can be reached on foot from the festival centre in a few minutes or, more conveniently, by bus or tram.
There is a very good connection to Hart bei Graz by railway. Ticket prices for Luise 37 in Hart bei Graz include tickets for getting there by railway. Tickets are available free of charge at the information and ticket offices.

Car

By car you can reach Graz via Highway A9 (from the north: Salzburg/Linz/Germany; from the south: Slovenia, Croatia) and via Highway A2 (from the east: Vienna/Hungary/Poland/Czech Republic; from the south (Klagenfurt/Italy). Driving time from Vienna is about 2 hours, from Lubljana about 2 hours as well, from Linz and Zagreb about 3 hours, from Salzburg about 4 hours and from Munich about 5 hours.
Vordernberg is about 1¼ hours and Leoben 1 hours from Graz. Please note the shuttles that we are putting on to selected events.

Aeroplane

There are flexible, almost daily connections between Graz airport and other important European airports like Vienna, Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf, Zürich and Paris. Links to flights to other countries abroad can be made easily.

Train

Train connections within Austria are offered between Graz and Vienna, Salzburg, Linz, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt and within Europe between Graz and Munich, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Zürich, Paris, Rome, Milano, Ljubljana, Zagreb and Budapest.
