The Modezirkus of steirischer herbst moves on – to Leoben. At the Porubsky Halle you can get rid of old wardrobe clutter, dresses, shirts, and trousers and take new fashion treasures home with you in return. The clothing swap is not just good fun, it is also a statement against consumer and throwaway society. On two collection days swappers can bring along up to five items of clothing worth being worn by someone else. For each item that’s accepted, you get one stamp. Then, when the big swap party takes place, you can use your stamp card to buy new gear and maybe find out who in the future will be wearing the once favourite item from your own wardrobe.
